Memset, leading UK cloud provider, announced that Kate Craig-Wood, MD and founder will present at the Cloud Computing & Virtualization Academic Conference 2010 on 17th & 18th May 2010 in Singapore.

Craig-Wood has been selected to present her paper on ‘Analysis of CPU & Disk I/O Utilization in a Real-World Deployment of 950 Virtual Machines’.  The paper demonstrates how commodity hardware makes an ideal platform for virtualization, using the newest part of Memset's VM deployment for the data sets.

Craig-Wood has also been selected to present at OSCON, 19-23 July 2010 in Portland Oregon. Her role as co-lead on the technical architecture work strand of the G-Cloud programme, means Kate will be presenting on the role of governments with cloud and giving some insights into the G-Cloud project.
