Memset Shortlisted For Two Awards At The 2009 PC Pro Awards

- IT Host Hopes To Retain "Best Web Host" Title for Fourth Consecutive Year -

Guildford, United Kingdom - 3 September 2009 - Memset, the award-winning dedicated IT hosting company, is delighted to announce that it has been shortlisted for two awards in the 2009 PC Pro Awards. The IT host is hoping to retain its title as 'Best Web Host' for the fourth consecutive year, as well as pick up 'Best Business Service of the Year'.

The awards, which take place every year, showcase the best providers of IT equipment, and are the industry's most prestigious, as they are voted for by users and not a judging panel. PC Pro compile the shortlist for each award by running one of the biggest IT surveys in the UK where customers are asked to vote for their favourite provider in each category.

"To win 'Best Web Host' four years on the trot would be amazing," said Kate Craig-Wood, founder and MD of Memset. "The competition is stiff, but hopefully we are in with a good chance of winning both of these titles."

Memset has been shortlisted for Best Business Service of the Year for their 'IT Hosting' service, which is a pick-and-mix selection of fully customisable virtual and dedicated servers presented as an outsourced IT infrastructure solution.

"Thanks to our heavily automated business processes, and our investment in energy & hardware efficiency, we are extremely competitive. In fact, our IT hosting service is currently one of the cheapest in Britain," concluded Craig-Wood.

The PC Pro award ceremony takes place at The Hurlingham Club, Fulham on 30 September 2009.
