Memset, leading British SME supplier of cloud hosting services has been shortlisted in three categories in the ISPA awards - the UK's longest running Internet industry awards, celebrating innovation and best practice in the UK Internet industry.

This year Memset is shortlisted in three categories;

The annual awards are the longest established and most respected awards in the internet industry, run by the Internet Services Providers’ Association (ISPA UK) to herald the best of the Internet industry and to celebrate innovation and best practice. Memset is hoping to win another award this year, giving them a hat trick for their third win at these awards in as many years.

As well as under-going technical testing for their dedicated hosting shortlisting, Memset also had to put forward a case study demonstrating how they had gone the extra mile for a business adopting cloud technology for the Best Business Use of Cloud.

On top of that a new category has been added to the 2015 awards programme, the Security Award will be awarded for the best security product or initiative.  Memset are delighted to be shortlisted for this new category, Kate Craig-Wood, MD of Memset explained: “Winning this award and having our security credentials independently judged and recognised by the ISPA will give customers added confidence that we go above and beyond to keep their data secure.”

As a G-Cloud approved supplier to the UK government, Memset are the only wholly UK-owned grass-roots SME to have successfully achieved the highest security accreditation possible for their hosting platform. As part of the accreditation process Memset constructed their own next generation, high security data centre, complete with IL4-appropriate security controls, highly efficient cutting edge cooling systems and redundant power and networking.

Nicholas Lansman, ISPAs Secretary General, said: “Congratulations to all those shortlisted for the 2015 ISPAs. With ISPA celebrating its twentieth anniversary, the long running ISPA Awards continues to reward those who help connect consumers and businesses and underpin our economy and society. These awards are the most rigorous and independent in the sector, with millions of tests carried out and direct input from customers. I look forward to the unveiling of the winners in July.”

The winners will all be unveiled during an event held at the prestigious Brewery in the City of London on Thursday 2nd July 2015.
